The city’s Parks and Recreation manage an excellent system of municipal parks for the population to enjoy. Earl Edgar Recreational Facility (500 South Miller Road) is a great athletic facility covering 23 acres of land. It is home to the Craig Counsell Field of Dreams youth baseball field along with additional baseball and softball fields. There are also multi-use athletic fields, a football field, basketball courts, a walking path, and playground. The largest park in the city, Sundance Park (22865 West Lower Buckeye Road) offers 30 acres of recreational space. With sport fields, sand volleyball courts, a playground, and many picnic ramadas, this park is perfect for family and community gatherings. Your dogs will love it too with the designated space set aside just for them. Town Park (207 North 9th Street) is home to the Buckeye Aquatic Center, an excellent community pool.


The growing Skyline Regional Park (2600 North Watson Road) located in Buckeye is a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts.
